This program will serve as a cost effective way for homeowners to maintain and/or improve their home and property with the help of neighbors. By requesting and/or enlisting the help of volunteers to complete “DIY” projects around the homeowners property.

This will also serve as an effective way to increase property value throughout our community, as well as help your neighbor who may have otherwise put that much needed repair on the back burner.

DIY Projects may include but not limited to:

•Fence repair and/or installation

•Deck repair and/or installation

•Landscaping

•Exterior Painting or Cleaning

•Disabled/Inoperable motor vehicles

Homeowner will fill out “Volunteer Request Form” with as much detail as possible:

•Name, address, phone #, email

•Detailed job description

•Start date

•End date

•Any request for extra or special tools and/or equipment

Homeowner will provide the following:

•Any and all materials needed to complete the project

•Most if not all tools required to complete the project

•Bottle water and/or other beverages for volunteers

•Reasonable lunch… (such as pizza, hot dogs, hamburgers, or sandwiches)

This program is open to all CCHA Residents. Please contact us if you need a hand with a project or repair, if you’re sick and/or shut-in and just need a little temporary help around the yard or house, or you are military and deployed or deploying and could use a hand while you’re away.

This program is strictly a volunteer based program, created by residents, for residents, and although CCHA has allowed Helping Hands to put out information via the CCHA website, it is in no way funded by CCHA nor is it managed by CCHA.
